Ascension is a consultancy with a twist. We challenge beliefs in an industry that is stuck in its ways and are now seeking senior consultants with entrepreneurial DNA to join our team.
We’ve just celebrated our 2nd Birthday and like most 2 year old’s are going through a growth spurt.
We’re a team of 8 people; Aitch and Mike who are the Captains of the ship (and are well renounced for wearing some real Bobby Dazzler suits on Dress For Success Monday’s!), our crazy dog lady Finance Superstar Kirsten, Lewis who talks on the phone at an incredibly high rate of decibels (especially when he’s done a deal), our Recruitment Manager and resident Geocaching expert Naomi and our apprentice Oliver (who makes a killer cuppa – but isn’t allowed anywhere near the office playlist!).

The day to day duties will consist of the 360 degree recruitment cycles, from understanding your client’s requirements, building relationships, sourcing candidates and aiding their search.
The Fit / Requirements
You will be someone with at least 2 years Recruitment experience that you have spent in an agency or even in a Business Development role within a recruitment setting, it`s a non-negotiable. If you have resourcing experience, that could be no harm either.
Realistically, we need you to have a few years’ experience of working in a targeted environment under your belt, otherwise we would not be setting you up to succeed. If you have done a stint in an internal recruitment role or have knowledge of RPO settings, all the better, you’ll know the pain points and the jargon of your clients! Wheels aren’t essential for opening however having a full UK driver’s license will be beneficial.
Outside of the above – a big personality and the ability to communicate your passion for a specific sector will put you in great stead.
